Ross, Donald Milton, 83, of Lutz, Florida entered into rest on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Don was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Emmett and Theresa Ross. He attended Beaumont High School and Washington University before enlisting in the Army. Don moved to Tampa in 1965 to raise his loving family. He enjoyed golf and played as often as he could in between raising a family, serving in the military and being a business manager for the Purex Corporation. He ultimately bought and ran his own company, Diamond Products until retiring in 1985. Retirement allowed for his attention to focus on of course golf, but also the arrival of grandkids which he adored dearly. Don was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather with strong mid-West roots that put family first, as he knew no other way. Don leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Marilyn; son, Michael Ross (Lisa); daughter, Lisa Ross Shelton (Phillip); grandchildren, Sydney Ross, Carson Ross and Noah Shelton; nephew, Johnny and nieces, Judy and Debbie. A memorial service will be at 6pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 Don’s family will start receiving guests at 5pm.
