Diane was a great neighbor, We really miss her, she would always knock on my door to tell me about that sales were going on for the week. RIP.

I am very saddened by this news as Diane was that special person one cannot forget.  One of the few people in my life, that I never lost contact with as she is just that special.  I was lucky enough to work with her for a couple years at BBK, and she was our "rock".  The world has lost a remarkable person.  Prayers to friends and family.   I will miss you, Diane.

My heart is broken.... 
Diane made my work days at BBK bearable, it was privilege to have been friends with such a remarkable person!  She always made me laugh and smile when I didn't think I could !! I will miss her so much! My thoughts payers and love are with her family and loved ones for their tremendous loss..

You left us far too soon Diane, but I know in my heart that Dad has greeted you with open arms.  I am so happy for you for finding your friend Tom.  I know you loved him and he loved you.  You are loved by your entire family and friends.  Love ya Sis.  

PS - hate to tell you but you never did master that tricycle.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Shafer family and Kendal, Curtis, Mia, and little Eliana. Diane was so proud of you boys and your accomplishments.  Although we didn't visit much due to distance, when we did, it was just like we were never apart.  We visited the Vandewalle family when they were stationed in Hawaii.  If Diane hadn't have met us at the airport we would not have made our connecting flight.  Then, when we came back through Honolulu, she had us shopping at the best places.  Once they made it back to the Mainland, we visited a few times in Tampa.  Diane was proud to point us in the right direction again. She knew where to find the best bargains, I think that was the "Scott" in her.  Our kids still remember the horse shoe crabs on the beach.  Once we all got cell phones, we would visit via text.  When hurricanes were coming to Tampa we would touch base and Diane would say "it is just a little rain"...Eilana your grandma Diane was so excited to become a grandmother, she just couldn't contain herself.  We love you all, Diane will be sorely missed....Your cousins from Southern IL, Kim and Todd Davis and Kids

My deepest sympathy for your family.  Though I had not talked to Diane in a very long long time. She was a great friend and a lovely soul who will be greatly missed. I have many great memories of spending time with her.

We are so sorry for your loss! Diane Shafer was a good friend to my husband Pascual Santiago and me Sherry Lynn Santiago. We met when she sold merchandise at the Flea Market with Tommy Muskett. We had a lot of laughs with her. She loved bringing Miss Piggy to the flea market. Just to pass the time with some fun. And the love she had for Mickey Mouse. Every time I see him I think of her and always will. She will be missed. RIP my friend, Pascual and Sherry
