Cyndi was born in Quincy, Illinois to Terry & Shirley Nichols on April 30, 1954. She went to Unity High School in Mendon. She married Raymond Leon on January 22, 1977 and they spent 45 wonderful years together. In her life she worked as a Hair Dresser by profession, a volunteer at Moffit Cancer Center and a Homemaker at heart ensuring those around her were always happy & loved. She never met a stranger or had a bad thing to say about anyone. She always had a smile and loved everyone. Throughout the years, she fought many health obstacles but never complained and instead always offered more of herself to help others in any way she could. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren as well as her son and daughter-in-law.
Cyndi will be dearly missed and is survived by her husband of 45 years, Raymond Leon, her son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Jenny Leon, her grandchildren, Abbey & Trevor as well as her sister, Deb Adair and her nieces and nephews, Jessica Williams, Amy Voight, Jeremy & Adam Adair.
Per Cyndi’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services held and instead her ashes will be buried next to her family that has preceded her in death including her parents, Terry & Shirley Nichols as well as her younger sister, Tracy Nichols. Arrangements are by Blount & Curry Funeral Home – Carrollwood.
