Charles found the love of his life, Charlotte Jean, while cheering on the Brandon Eagles at a school football game. Their romance blossomed, leading to a beautiful marriage on August 27, 1955, and the joy of raising three wonderful children: Chuck, Timothy, and Susan.
In 1954, Charles embarked on a 39-year career with GTE as a communications installer. His dedication to his work remained strong even after his retirement in 1993, as he continued to do contract work in his field until 2015. A devoted family man, Charles worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones. In his free time, he cherished moments with his wife and children, enjoyed watching westerns on television, and relished Sunday breakfasts with friends and family.
The Fowler family is deeply grateful to the compassionate staff and the many friends Charles made at Tessera for ensuring his later years were filled with comfort and care.
Charles is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlotte Jean, his parents, Ellis and Ruby and sisters, Louise and Dorothy. He leaves behind his sons Chuck and Charlotte, Timothy and Melinda, his daughter Susan and Joe, his three cherished grandchildren, Chaz, Jennifer, and Tyler, as well as a host of loving family and friends.
A service for Charles will held on Saturday, October 19 at Blount & Curry at Garden of Memories Funeral Home located at 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
