Charles Bruce Van Pelt

VAN PELT, Charles Bruce, 86, of Tampa passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. Charles retired as a Colonel in the United States Air Force where he served honorably and faithfully to his country. In his free time, Charles enjoyed skeet shooting and won many awards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bebby in 1997. He is survived by his daughter, Lydia Light and her husband, Dale; grandchildren, Toni Thomas, Lorrie Brinkley and her husband, Mark, Kristine Wright and her husband, Dennis; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Allie and Maddie; niece, Heike Sobiech- Galam and her husband, Eli Galam and their children, Ben & Siggi and his very dear friend, Karen Cavaliere. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm.
