Rabassa, Carlos Eduardo, 19 of Wesley Chapel, FL. passed away due to injuries sustained from being hit by a drunk driver on November 30, 2023. Carlos was born and raised in Tampa, FL. and was very proud to have graduated from Wesley Chapel High School, Class of 2022. Carlos took great pride in his work ethic as a dietary aide at Blue Herion senior living. He was very loved by all the citizens there especially Joe and Ms Virginia. Carlos loved firearms. He enjoyed researching them, learning all about the different parts of a firearm, how to take them apart and put them back together. Carlos was a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and his favorite basketball team was the Miami Heat. He loved fashion and also loved animals especially dogs. Carlos always dreamed of being a dog dad of a bully. Carlos loved the Caribbean culture from the food to the people to the history of everything Caribbean. He also loved to watch boxing fights and always wanted to learn jiu-jitsu. Lately Carlos had shared with his family that he was interested in learning how to become a barber.
He is survived by his mother, Joanna Reveron; father, Eduardo Rabassa; brothers, Adrian Velez and his wife Jasmine, Angel Rabassa and Alvaro Velez wife Sydney and children Ben and Liam Valez; niece, Aryiana Velez; as well as loving aunts, uncle, cousins and extended family.
A visitation for Carlos will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. A celebration of life service for carlos will occur Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Garden Of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610.
