Bob Metz, age 88, of Lutz, Florida went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 29, 2021, four days before his 89th birthday. Bob retired after 21 years of service with the United States Air Force. He was family oriented, enjoyed being involved in church activities, and was always kept busy.
He is predeceased by his first wife and the mother of his children; Myrza, second wife June, two sisters, Louise and Shirley and a brother, Albert.
Bob is survived by current wife Brenda, children; Rhonda Kloosterman (Bill), Robert Metz, Jr, Vicki Metz, and Wayne Metz, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held 12noon- 1pm, with a funeral service being conducted at 1pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610. Interment with military honors will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
