Barbara Jean Kirkland, 89, of Tampa, passed away June 27, 2022 surrounded by her family. She spent many years working for GTE and University Community Hospital. Barbara was also a member of Buchanan Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Curtis Kirkland.
Barbara is survived by her sons William “Butch” Kirkland (Marcella) and Wayne Kirkland (Teri); niece Goria Whaley (Jim); 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and many other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Buchanan Baptist Church or Life Path Hospice.
A visitation will be held at 11AM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 with services beginning at 12pm and reception to follow at Buchanan Baptist Church, 808 Bears Ave, Tampa FL 33613.
