31, of Tampa, passed away November 3, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anastasia K. Garcia; grandparents, Michael and Irene Kavouklis; cousin, Nicholas Kavouklis. Andrew is survived by his father, Mark A. (Cyndee) Garcia, Sr.; siblings, Mark A. Garcia, Jr., Irene C. Garcia, Alexander R. Garcia and Katherine A. Garcia; grandparents, Robert and Mary Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; step-brothers, Garrett, Hunter and Parker Clonts; step-nephew, Johnny Clonts. Andrew graduated Jesuit High School, attended Florida State University and graduated from University of South Florida. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 6:30pm at The Chapel of the Holy Cross on the campus of Jesuit High School. The family will receive friends at 5:00pm at the The Chapel of the Holy Cross prior to mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Andrew enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially a trip to the beach, a Buccaneers game, and fresh-baked bread. His brilliant mind and remarkably witty sense of humor brought laughter and joy to anyone around him. He lived every day with passion and saw beauty in the ordinary. He was often described as a ray of light by those who knew him. Andrew was guided by a kind heart, and found great purpose in his role as a beloved brother, son, and friend.
