Ana was born in her beloved country of the Dominican Republic on December 7, 1935. She immigrated to the United States in 1966, where she resided in Massachusetts and worked for AT&T for 30 years.
Ana retired from AT&T in 1995 and moved to Ocala, Florida. She lived in Ocala for 22 years. For the past four years, Ana lived in Tampa with her loving and devoted siblings, Jose Antonio Shephard and his caring wife, Eunice Shephard.
Antonio Angenor, Ana's husband, and their daughter, Priscilla, preceded Ana's death. Ana is survived by her children Jose Roustand and Claudia A. Joseph. She will be missed by her grandchildren Alexia, Adriel, and Samuel. Her loving Ray's siblings: Jorge, Luis Emilio, Bienvenido, Cecilia, Francisco, Carmen, Carlos Antonio, Eduardo, Rosa, Amalio, and Santica. And her loving Hilton's siblings: Jorge, Rafael, Jose Antonio, Ana Maria, Cesar, Lucia, Gloria. In addition, Ana had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ana was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed Christian hymnals in English and Spanish, particularly The Gaither Vocal Band. Ana also enjoyed hosting families after Sunday church service, crocheting, and walking. Moreover, she enjoyed spending her time baking, cooking, and singing. In addition, she had a joy for crocheting Afghans and blankets as gifts to newborns for families and friends.
We will miss her laugh, gracious smile, and delicious carrot cake.
Above all, she will be remembered as a God fearing, virtuous woman who loved God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength and as well as her neighbors (Matthew 22:38).
