I will always remember the hugs and the warm smile she had for me and my wife when we saw each other. The love and understanding and giving nature that she taught her children and grandchildren can be witnessed by all who knew her. She shall be greatly missed and appreciated to all who had the honor of knowing her. Our Heavenly Father has welcomed into his kingdom an angel who for all eternity can Rest In Peace. Farewell to My Great-aunt Raymonde Mars Hoharth

I have many fond memories of aunt Raymonde, but what I remember the most about her was her excitement to cook her favorite food  which was (Tomtom) breadfruit with okra and herring sauce, typical of her hometown, Jeremie, Haiti. The original way to make it is by using a big mortar and pestle, but aunt Raymonde had found a subtitute to make it here in the US. A real revolution to her taste bud and less work for her. That was also  my introduction to (Tomtom) in Brooklyn, NY.

Early Saturday  morning, she would make it. That usually turned into a feast when she prepared it at my grandmother's house.

Tante (aunt) Raymonde was a militant to her faith, devoted her life to prayers and was passionate about helping people find their way to God.
Enclosed is a picture of tante Raymonde and my mother on a Pennsylvania Dutch Country trip with her church.

I love you mom and I will miss you dearly. You were my right hand, my best friend and my companion. I am so so blessed to have had you as my mom.  You have lived the life if a true Christian, a role model for your family, your church family and others who had the privilege to meet you for a short while.  The passion for the word of God was your life. You have tried to save as many souls for heaven as you could. Your job is done on this earth. Your tired body will be put to rest soon and return to ashes, but your legacy and your sweet memories will live forever.  RIP my Queen!  You have worked very hard to obey God’s words, you have kept the faith, now you can wait for your angelic body. Job well mom!❤️

May your soul Rest In Peace. I remember when I was growing up you always bring me candy when you came to church (FGA). And also, Iuse to bring my friends to get candy from you and you loved everyone without a long term relationship with them. You were such a loving and caring person.  Love you so much❤️🕊🕊🕊🕊
