Lucienne Jean-Joseph was the youngest of six by Mr and Mrs Lucienne and Maurice Jean-Joseph. She attended private school all her life and at 17, moved to New York where she worked various clerical jobs while attending Queensborough Community College eventually graduating in secretarial science. Lucienne lived in New York for many years where she had her three children Deborah, Christopher, and Jonathan.
Later in life Lucienne moved back to Haiti for a few years but decided to permanently move to Florida with her children where she called it home and had her last child Kimberly. Lucienne became a Christian, giving her life to God while continuing to work as a phlebotomist for 15 years. Lucienne was an independent, strong woman, an amazing and beautiful mother, a hard worker, a selfless, loving woman . She loved to cook, had an infectious laughter, and loved being around her family.
Lucienne is survived by her beloved children, Deborah Jean-Joseph, Christopher Judes Pierre-Louis, Jonathan Silver Content, and Kimberly Johanna Pierre. She was blessed with grandchildren,Ty'Rick Levius Lacroix, Conthessah Layla Dupresil, and Ma'kayla Nicole Dupresil who will lovingly remember her. Lucienne is also survived by siblings, Yves Marc Jean-Joseph, Carlo Jean-Joseph, Chantale Jean-Joseph, Hugo Jean-Joseph, and Maurice Jean-Joseph. All who were blessed to know Lucienne will keep her memory in their hearts forever.
A visitation for Lucienne will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bailey Memorial, 6701 West Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, FL 33319. There will be a final viewing before the services on, Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, at Bailey Memorial, 6701 West Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, FL. The services will begin promptly at 11:00 AM until about 12:45 PM when we will proceed to Bailey Memorial (Cemetery) where Lucienne will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace.
