My dear high school friend, Dr. Ruth, I am glad I got to know Frank through you in Florida, He became my State Farm agent and he was so knowledgeable in his field. Then I experienced him as pastor who I learned was just doing the work in ministry to which he was called. And to have his wife to enhance his ministry, is a testament to the man he was. Condolences to the entire Hinkson families. May God comfort you at this difficult time. May Rev Frank, Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory. Blessings + love.

Bishop Frank G. Hinkson made a sterling contribution to the New Testament Church of God, Barbados, as its first local overseer. 

His impact on my personal development as a minister is greatly appreciated. I was exposed to his leadership while I was a student at the Barbados Bible College. Seeing my potential, he insisted that I take the first level ministerial examination and later assigned me to pastoral duties at age twenty-three. 

Bishop Hinkson was a transformative leader whose focused efforts, aimed at strengthening every department of the church, cannot be discounted. Under his leadership, New Testament Church of God, Barbados, experienced tremendous growth. His ability to extrapolate the tenets of the Word and to impact the lives of many was quite remarkable. This was most evident as he led in the successful evangelism drive across the country. For me, the most memorable were crusades that were held at Factory Avenue, Wildey and Bibby's Lane, both in the parish of St. Michael. He will also be remembered for coordinating the international conference to Barbados, when former international overseer, Ray Hughes, ministered and interacted with the Barbados assembly.

So inspired was I by his work and leadership, that I requested that he officiate at my wedding soon after my first pastoral assignment. It was therefore a pleasure to converse with him earlier this year after a long while. Our conversation covered several areas but he mainly expressed a desire to return to his homeland to reside. My family and I offer heartfelt condolences to his wife, children and other family members.

He valued his students and took pride in  imparted to us wisdom, knowledge and common sense. He was a great orator and when he spoke we listened.  Principal Hinkson you will be missed. In loving memory of my great uncle Frank Hinkson, a man whose presence graced our lives with warmth, wisdom, and a deep sense of compassion. Uncle Frank embodied the true essence of kindness, always ready with a gentle word or thoughtful gesture, bringing light and comfort to everyone around him. His life was a beacon of resilience and quiet strength, teaching us the importance of love, family, and perseverance through the many challenges life brings.

Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched. We will forever cherish the memories of his laughter, his stories, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. As we mourn his passing, we take solace in the thought that his legacy continues to inspire and uplift us.

To Aunty Ruth, Charmaine, Dwight, Glenson, Frank Jr., Jamal, relatives and all loved ones, my deepest condolences during this time of sorrow. May we find comfort in each other and in the beautiful memories we shared with him. Uncle Frank’s life reminds us to hold close the ones we love, and to carry forward the values he instilled in us with pride. Rest in peace, Uncle Frank. To the relatives of Reverend Frank G Hinkson my sincerest condolences. It was through his preaching at a crusade outside  the Bibby's Lane Church in late Oct 1975 that I came to the Lord.At Bible School he asked me to hold on at the Arch Hall Church for a few weeks will the Pastor was on holiday.
For me the Church Growth Conference in 1979 was his greatest accomplishment. We benefited greatly and will always remember it and Rev.Frank G.
Rest in Peace and the sweet arms of Jesus.

I worked for Mr. Hinkson at State Farm for 4 years 2002-2006.  He was more than a boss to me. We had a stronger bond then just employer and employee. He was like a father to me. Always gave me good advice with life.  I moved to NC in 2006 & even after 18 years, we still kept in touch.  Either I will call him or he would call me. I know he had his health issues & so did I.  He was so sweet & he would always pray for me over the phone & sometimes Ruth prayed for me aswell.  He had a big loving heart. I will miss calling him & catching up.  Soon we see you in the resurrection Mr. Hinkson.

Mr. Hinkson was a very kind, easy going, and compassionate person. He always knew how to light up a room and give a helping hand. Although he is gone he will forever be in our hearts as he has impacted many lives. My condolences to the family.

Frank studied and pastored in Jamaica for many years before returning to Barbados to take up pastoral and overseer duties in Barbados.

During his years in Jamaica I would visit him on several occasions and made many friends there. 

On his return to Barbados I was able to assist him with anything he wanted done regarding  the work here. 

Frank left Barbados for the USA around 1981. During the last 7/8 years we would constantly reminisce on our childhood days in Barbados and the good work he did as General Overseer here in Barbados.

Rest peacefully Reverend and brother. You have now transitioned to a higher calling.

Rev. Frank Hinkson, l keep going back to check again and again his age, 86 years old!!! How did l missed that? Did a missed his grand birthday party? Pastor Hinkson age surprised me because l never saw an 86 years old man. He was a true, stand up, gospel comedian who never showed his age, strong and full of energy until his health was compromised!

I have been in Living Waters Church of God, over 33 years, he opened every Annual Convention except this year's Convention! The Convention commenced August 11-16, he held on and prayed for Our Annual Convention, then slipped home, one day after the Convention. Timing or coincidence, not sure but l will request our Church dedicates Every First Day of Convention, "The Hinkson's Family Day" make it a day to Honor Reverend Frank Hinkson and his family for the Legacy and the Foundation he left behind.

A great man of valor, value, visionary, a man full of integrity, wisdom, passionate about ministry and a teacher from the heart. Pastor Frank Hinkson's  legacy must live on through his Wife, Children and Grandchildren. This man was a Minister, Husband, Father,  a true family man and blaze a great pathway for others to follow and Living Waters Church of God got the full benefit. 

So please join me Living Waters Church of God in Honoring Pastor Frank Hinkson's legacy and support his beautiful wife and family in every aspect we can provide.
