He is preceded in death by his parents William Cecil Morris and Helen Morris and a brother Terry Morris.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Morris, siblings Gerald Morris (Annetta) of Orlando Florida, Patricia Morris Anglin (David) of Hamilton Ohio and Richard Morris of Tulsa Oklahoma. 3 children, James (Bo) Saylor and wife Pam, Andrea Ledford and husband Richard, Leah Luzecky and husband Michael. 7 grandchildren, Steven Saylor (Kimberly), Kayleigh Saylor Brown (Gabe), Mikayla Luzecky, Michael Luzecky, Cody Ledford (Karli), Clint Ledford (Bryce) and Cayden Ledford (Amelia). Reverend Morris also has 5 great grandchildren. He was a phenomenal husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
Reverend Morris began preaching at age 17, he held revival services across the heartland of America and also had a gospel group that sang and ministered. On December 19,1964 he married the love of his life Deborah Oakley. They spent 55 years together in ministry. In early ministry he and his family traveled and they sang with him. The family also recorded records and albums.
Reverend Morris served as Pastor at several churches and built those into strong and lasting ministries. His ministry carried him around the world to Africa, Ukraine, Finland, Estonia, England and Scotland.
Over the years Reverend Morris acquired degrees from Rhema Bible Training Center, Berean School of the Bible and Covenant Bible College and Seminary. Reverend Morris is the founder of Covenant Bible College and Seminary which has campuses across America and campuses worldwide. His life will live on through his legacy and training up our future pastors and leaders around the world.
Reverend William C Morris served his country in the United States Air Force as a Chaplain. He was a true lover of God's word and delighted in ministering to people. His ministry and life will always be remembered by the joy he brought to every person that encountered him and by two of his favorite messages, "The Praise Zone" and "The Best Is Yet To Come."
Reverend William C Morris will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery in Tallahassee Florida. As soon as possible there will be a celebration of life held for him at Restoration Place Tallahassee. The family thanks you for your love, prayers and kind words of Reverend Morris' life.
