Virginia Fletcher Wright passed away peacefully in Tallahassee October 23, 2017. She was born to Roderick and Grace Goen Fletcher November 19, 1921 in Cardinal Virginia, spending her childhood years there and also in Northern California. She attended secretarial school in Virginia and went on to live and raise family in Dayton, Ohio eventually moving to Tallahassee in 1963. She had a lifelong passion for piano, art, and gardening. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, dear to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years Noel A. Wright. She is survived by daughters Marjorie and Leslie Wright of Tallahassee and son Gilbert Wright of Fairhope, Alabama. Friends and family are invited to visit at 3 p.m. with services following at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Culley's MeadowWood Chapel, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida.
