Dr. Timothy William Rutter, age 76, of Tallahassee, Florida and Chelsea, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Timothy was born in London, England and attended Harrow Grammar School for boys where he was Head prefect. He remained in London to continue his studies at London University, where he received a degree in Anatomy and Physiology. He then went on to graduate from Westminster Medical School with a specialty in Anesthesiology.
Tim practiced in England, Sweden and the University of Michigan as the Associate Chair for Clinical Affairs. Tim served the public in this role for 50 years. He was a center for the Harlequins rugby team and a staunch supporter of Chelsea Football Club.
He is survived by his Wife, Wendy, of 31 years, children Nicholas Rutter, Katherine Rutter-Ardvisson and Elizabeth Rutter Greer and grandchildren Alicia and Olivia Ardvisson.
Tim was a great mentor, had a tremendous dry wit, loved to pull pranks and was a fiercely loyal friend. He will be greatly missed.
