Tara Iacampo Miller, 28, of Savannah, GA, formerly of Tallahassee died Saturday (11/28) in Savannah. Tara was born raised in Tallahassee and was a 2005 graduate of Lawton Chiles High School. Tara then joined the Seminole nation and graduated from FSU with her BSW degree in Social Work. Tara then pursued her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse and graduated from Kaiser University in Jacksonville. Tara was most recently employed with Hospice of Savannah. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Savannah where she and her husband, John, were married in 2013. Tara and John went to Greece on their honeymoon where she fulfilled a dream of riding a donkey to the top of Santorini with the love of her life, which she made a point to tell us she was able to check this off her bucket list. She enjoyed watching TV, particularly football with John and reality TV of all types. She enjoyed helping others and spending as much time as she could with her son, Jackson. Tara never met a stranger and opened her heart to all.
In addition to her husband John and Son Jackson, Tara is survived by her parents: Dean & Tamara Iacampo of Tallahassee; Father and step-mother Fernando & Linda Navas of Miami; Paternal Grandparents: Bob & Beverly Iacampo of Merritt Island; Maternal Grandmother: Patricia Hartung of Merritt Island; Father and Mother-in-Law: Leo and Liz Miller of Tallahassee; sisters: Tricia Iacampo of Tallahassee, Amanda Navas, Vanessa Navas, and Rebecca Navas all of Miami; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Duane Hartung.
