Sharon was born on February 17, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida to Florence and George Robinson. She married Derwin Terry in 1971 and again in 1980. She graduated from Florida State University and was employed by the State of Florida until her retirement. She was active in the Parkinson's Outreach Association and its choir. Sharon also loved FSU Baseball and spent a number of years as a member of the Animals of Section B.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Jim Robinson (Darlene), her daughter Jennifer Delgado (Kevin), her son David Terry, and her two granddaughters Liliana and Gabriella Delgado, as well as her nephews Robbie Robinson (Stacy) and Ryan Robinson (Tiffany). She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband.
Services will be on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Rd in Tallahassee and will include a visitation at 2:00 PM followed by an informal celebration of life at 3:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to wear the bright colors that Sharon enjoyed in life and leave the sad black clothes at home. Sharon will be buried alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
