Robert E. Hart, Sr, 79, of Tallahassee, FL (formally of North Branford, CT), passed away peacefully in the hospital on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024. He was born on September 28, 1945, in New Haven, CT, to Leslie A. Hart and Katherine D. Hart (Kobak).
Robert was a Branford High School Math teacher for over 25 yrs. He loved watching Penn State football games with his son, doing Thomas Kinkade puzzles, taking trips to the casinos, storm watching, and reading books.
Robert is survived by his children Robert Hart, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL and Kelly Hart of Branford, CT, his brothers, Leslie (Bobbie) Hart of Melbourne, FL and Philip (Sharon) Hart of Branford, CT, and 2 sisters Kathleen (Arthur, late) Oltman of Ormond Beach, FL and Patricia (Richard, late) Cannata of Millis, MA.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Hart (Stellato) and brother Lawrence B. Hart of East Haven, CT.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, October 26, from 8:30 AM-10: 30 AM at Keenan Funeral Home in North Branford.
