Mary Virginia Clark was born in Rutledge, Tennessee, on May 2, 1934, as the last child born to George Washington Morgan and Ella Brooke Morgan. She graduated from Rutledge High School Class of 1952 where she played and Lettered in Basketball all four (4) years.
After going to Business School , she married William F Clark Sr. in 1955 . As he served in the Air Force for 28 yrs, she was his beloved wife and mother to three adventurous boys. During these years she resided in Rutledge, Tennessee; Valdosta, Georgia; Albany, Georgia; Satellite Beach, Florida; and Fairfield, California before moving with her husband to Tallahassee, Florida in her later years.
The years she spent on military bases, she worked in the base school system where the boys went to school. Maybe just to keep an eye on them, as the stories were so many and laughter filled the air as she told them. She loved having the privilege of being a Den Mother in the Boys Scouts for her boys.
After the 28 years of supporting her beloved husband as he served in the military, she used the knowledge from Business School, to Manage Movie Theaters in Napa, California and Santa Rosa, California. Here she was loved and cherished, for she had great relationships with many, many of her employees. She attended many movie premiers and never failed to get a picture with stars like Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Burt Reynolds and others. She was always ‘dressed’ including the accessories and jewelry which she loved to wear.
Her love of sewing and crafts gave her patience to make many many quilts and other things which she would pass along to those that were without. She also loved collecting, and Cherished Teddies were her favorite. She loved to cook and did it very well. She also loved to travel, and spent many vacations in Hawaii and Lake Tahoe, and her favorite holiday was Christmas and she decorated everything. Thankgiving came in second, and the table couldn’t hold all the food. In her later years, she became a FSU womens basketball fan and went to every game possible and loved Coach Sue and Coach Cori.
She was preceded in death by her Husband William F Clark, Sr.; parents, George and Ella Morgan;
