Marcia was born on March 13th, 1943, daughter of the late Reverend Dr. Arlon Otis Ebright Sr. and Gladys Pearl Gosch Ebright. She was a Chi Omega at Kansas University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and continued on to become a Reading Specialist. She served as a teacher in Kansas, Florida and Texas for over 50 years. Marcia loved playing the piano, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, and all things beach. She cherished spending time with friends, family, and her grandchildren, Cash Carlisle and Charley Ann Cox. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Charles William Clements Sr.; her devoted daughter and sons, Cricket Ann Cox, Charles William Clements Jr. and Christopher Wade Clements; and her dear sister, Dorothy Dianne Gilbert. Marcia also deeply loved her surviving son/daughter/sister/brother-in-law, niece and nephew. She reunites in heaven with her brother Arlon Otis Ebright Jr. and her other nephew David Austin Ebright.
We will be celebrating Marcia’s life with a service at her home, the same spot on the beach that she and Charles married in 1975. Services will be held Saturday, March 10th 2pm at 1579 Shell Point Rd, Crawfordville, FL 32327.
If you would like to honor a loved one that has passed bring a biodegradable Wish Lantern to light in their honor after the ceremony. You are welcome to call Culley’s Funeral Home at 850-877-8191 for additional questions. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALZ.org to find a cure for this horrific disease.
“Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free to follow the path God made for me. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much…good friend, good times, and a loved one’s touch.”
Rest in Peace Marcia Ann Clements.
