Mr. Trotta was born in New York City, and was a resident of Tallahassee since 1975.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Esther; his son, Louis and wife, Elayne Trotta, of Pensacola; his daughter, Lori and husband, Gene Gandy of Tallahassee; and four grandchildren, Richard and wife Michelle Trotta of Austin, TX, Nicole and Lindsey Trotta of Pensacola, and Will Gandy of Tallahassee.
Mr. Trotta served in the U.S. Marines, and enjoyed spending time with his many extended family members and friends from New York, Miami, Tallahassee and Puerto Rico.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to your favorite charity.
