Dr. Kerry Scott Pliskin

Dr. Kerry Scott Pliskin, age 76, died on Apr. 30, 2023, in Tallahassee, FL. He is survived by his cousin Roberta Cymbal, of the Bronx, NY; his cousin Cheryl Aiello, of North Salem, NY; his brother in law, John Steinberg, of New York City, NY. He is preceded in death by his by his sister, Jill Steinberg, of New York City, NY.

Scott was born on Jun. 30, 1946 in Manhattan, NY, to parents Seymour Leo Pliskin and Bobbie Young. He graduated from Richmond College with a Bachelor of Art degree in 1969, and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1983.

Serving in various magnitudes as a veterinarian for 40 years, Dr. Pliskin made an undeniable impact on the lives of many pets and their loved ones. His family and friends will always remember him as an uplifting man with a compassionate heart.

Dr. Pliskin would like to thank the employees and patrons of Mahan Animal Clinic for their continued trust and support throughout the years.

A funeral service is scheduled for Scott on Wed., May 3, 2023, 10:00 am at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at MeadowWood Memorial Park.
