She was born in Lansing, Mich., May 2, 1932, to Virgil and Mina (Ladd) Foster.
Miss Foster was educated in Michigan but moved to Florida in her early 20s where she worked as in real estate and insurance.
She never married.
She was preceded in death by her parents (1901-1976 and 1902-1973) two brothers, Richard (Dick) and James (Jim), and a sister, Beverly Smith.
Surviving are nieces and nephews Virgil Keith Foster of Ohio; Isabelle, Paul, Mark, T.J., Becky and David Foster; Louie Smith and SueAnn (Sue) Smith Geisenhaver, all of Michigan.
In addition, she has several great-nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church, where she had served on the council; had served with Meals on Wheels and formerly volunteered with Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday at Culley’s Meadowood on Timberlane Road, with the Rev. Arlen Swinger presiding.
Burial and a buffet reception will follow.
