He was born in Fitzgerald, GA to George and Louise Howell on February 18, 1953. Jerry served in the U. S. Airforce for 4 years. He enjoyed bowling, playing poker and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, George B. Howell, Sr. and son, Houston L. Howell. He is survived by his wife, Lila Howell of 39 years; son, Anthony (Candy) Howell; mother, Louise Howell; brother, George B. Howell Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Michael, Zachary and Jocelyn Howell and several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be at 1 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Bible Believers Church. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Bible Believers Church with interment following at White Church Cemetery in Woodville.
