Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 18, at his home in Tallahassee with several friends and family officiating.
Born in Moultrie, GA April 19, 1975, he was the son of Dorothy Dickens of Moultrie, GA and the late G.W. Dickens Sr. He graduated from Colquitt County High School and Moultrie Technical School. He attended Valdosta State University.
Survivors include two sisters, Andrea Dickens Hargraves, and Brandy R. Dickens, half-sister, Melissa Dickens of Louisiana; half-brothers, Vick Dickens of Louisiana and Ronnie D. Dickens Jr. of Louisiana; nieces, Lori Jackson of Valdosta, GA and Katlyn Jackson of Moultrie, GA; other family members, Guilford W. Dickens Jr. of Moultrie, GA and Ronnie D. Dickens Sr. of Moultrie, GA; and friend, John Abbott. Jason leaves behind his husband Brandon Mahaffey of Tallahassee, FL.
