James Wilbur Stevens, formerly of Tallahassee, died on January 26, 2022 at the age of 79 at South Bay Hospital. His passing is preceded by “the love of his life”, his wife Kenna. He is survived by his sons, Hunter and his wife April, Scott and his wife Samantha, and Grant and Cindy. His Grandchildren Ashley, Kiersten, Evan, Avery, and Great granddaughter Mikinlee. He is also survived by his sister Carol and her husband Will, Brother Jerry and his wife Debbie. Jim was a devoted husband to his wife Kenna and wonderful father to his three sons. He was a baseball coach, scout leader, tennis coach, and avid golfer. Jim received his Master’s degree in education from the University of Florida. He became a high school teacher, then worked for Wyeth as a pharmaceutical sales rep for over 30 years. Once retired, he moved to Sun City in 2005 to be closer to his boys. He remained in Sun City until his passing and will always be remembered as a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather.
A graveside service for James will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Cemetery, 804 Piedmont Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.
