Most of James formative years were spent in his native Tallahassee, Fl. He graduated from Leon High School. He joined the United States Army. After leaving the military, he was employed with Morrison Restaurant and from there he was employed with Lively/Tallahassee Community College as a manager until his retirement in 2007. After his retirement, James was devoted and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends near and far. On November 23, 2021 God released James Terrell Sherman from all earthly trials and tribulations and welcomed him home for his celestial rest. His love will live on forever in the hearts his family and friends.
James is survived by his aunt Grace Kahler of Boston, GA. Friend/Caretaker Shelia Howard Tallahassee, FL and a host of cousins, other relatives and close friends. He had a special bond with Shelia Howard and Charles Washington.
