George Thomas "Tom" Beall,100, of Monticello, Florida died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born September 25, 1921 in Wauchula, Florida to the late Arthur Wesley Beall and Bessie Vera Deigh.
Mr. Beall served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater and was stationed in Hawaii, Guam, Saipan and Japan. He was a carpenter and retired from Scotty's.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Bernice Churchwell Beall. Survivors include a son, George "Tommy" Beall, Jr., and his wife, Carol, of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Linda Weldon, and her husband, Kenneth, of Monticello, Florida; daughter, Karen Burns, and her husband, Wayne, of Lee, Florida; a brother, Milton Beall, of Lakeland, Florida; a sister, Dollie McMullen, of Lakeland, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be at 3:00pm Monday, October 11, 2021 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, Florida.
