Elizabeth "Betty" Wilder Crosby

She was a 1956 graduate of Leon High School and Hillsborough Community College, where she studied interior design. Betty was married to William Rainey Crosby for 36 years.

She is survived by her brother Jack Wilder of Tallahassee, FL; three sons, Sid Lingerfelt (Donna) and Earl Lingerfelt of Tallahassee, FL, Kyle Lingerfelt, of Monterrey, TN, her daughter Michelle Mills (Rick) of Gainesville, FL and a stepson, David Lingerfelt of Wrightwood, CA. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Jason Lingerfelt (Rebecca), of Cookeville, TN; Danielle Mills and Richard Mills of Gainesville, FL; Max Davidson, Griffin Davidson and Jackson Davidson of Roanoke, VA; Steven Lingerfelt of Lindenhurst, NY; Victor Lingerfelt and Fiona Lingerfelt of White Bear Lake, MN. Two great grandsons, Cade Mills, of Gainesville, FL and Jacob Lingerfelt, of Cookeville, TN.

A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 PM January 7, 2023, at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home.

Betty was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Frank C. Wider. Other deceased members of her family include sisters Annette Basford, Patricia Carroll, Martha Wilder, one brother, Buster Wilder and a daughter, Allison Davidson.
