He was a freshman at Chiles High School and member of the JV basketball and football teams. A friendly giant at 6ft 4in, Caden relished in being known as one of the “Tall Guys” amongst his peers. This witty undercover goofball loved God, spending time with his family, analyzing sports, exploring the world, and showing off his culinary skills in the kitchen and on the grill. Caden’s stature and likeable personality aided in him being well known and loved throughout the community.
Caden will be forever remembered and loved by his mother, Vannah Parramore of Tallahassee, FL, his father, Alonzo Staats (Andrea) of Ripley, WV, and younger brother, Jacob Staats of Tallahassee, FL. Also, he will be deeply missed by his grandparents, Sandy (Jackie) Parramore of Tallahassee, FL , Lori Anderson of Tallahassee, FL, Jimmy Staats of Ripley, WV; Aunt Stephanie Parramore of Tallahassee, FL, Uncles Nate (Monica) Parramore of Tallahassee, FL, Brock (Amy) Staats of Ripley, WV, Ren Barriner of Tallahassee, FL, Lawrence Barriner of Boston, MA ; step siblings Alex and Daman Cooper, Dakota Keyser, and Waylon Robinson of Ripley, WV; cousins Savannah Spannaus, Alaena Parramore, Lana and Brooke Staats, and Robert Parramore; and host of close relatives and friends including his mentor, Keyshawn Helton and beloved girlfriend, Makayla Campa. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Susan Parramore.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on April 5 at Restoration Place Church, located at 3381 N. Monroe St. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32308. The family has established a Go Fund Me account.
