Bonnie Jones

Bonnie Jones, Retired, of Crawfordville, Fl. passed away at the age of 76, on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Tallahassee, Fl. She was born on May 18, 1942 in Nashville, Georgia and moved to Florida in the mid 70's. Bonnie had a passion for horses, classic tv shows, and family. She loved children and this was seen through her many years of guidance, nurturing, and moralizing those she met from her own philosophy, life experiences, and sharp-tongued wit she was known for. Bonnie loved to be surrounded by her large family as much as possible and always enjoyed laughing and reminiscing about stories from over the years.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Marlin Jones, Son- Joey Rentz wife Amy, Son Tim Rentz, Daughter Pam Jones husband Jeffrey, Daughter Cindy Walton husband Troy, Daughter Kristy Robinson husband Steve, brother Charles Holton and wife Sharon, brother Wendell Holton wife Gloria, brother Jimmy Holton, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father James Holton, her mother Grace Holton, her sister Carolyn Willis, and grandson Chad Smith.

Family would like to extend thanks to Big Bend Hospice, and the nurses in the Neurology ICU at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for the tender care of their mother.

A visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Road. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
