Annie knew at an early age that Nursing was her calling. She began her career at Variety Children's Hospital as a Candy-striper, then Nurses Aide, Nursing Student, Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse (RN). She cared for the tiniest of preemies.
In 1989, she was named Head Nurse of the Neonatal-Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team. Annie would transport children by ambulance, helicopter and lear jet, to get them to the lifesaving care they needed.
Ann is survived by her son, Michael Thomas Burget and four sisters: Mary, Joan, Cathy, Theresa. She was proceeded in death by the "love of her life" Michael Jay Burget. Annie will be missed by many family and friends, near and far.
A requiem Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday October 14th at 2pm, with burial and Celebration of Life to follow at Culley's MeadowWood , Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida.
