Wilma J. Ogden

Wilma Jean Ogden began this life on February 19, 1939 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Morrison Larry and Virginia Mae (White) Wheeler. She attended Bagley High School, and met the love of her life, Bobby Lee Ogden. They married on December 10, 1955.

Their marriage was blessed with three amazing children, two boys, Robert Lee Ogden and James Lee Ogden, and one daughter Barbara Jean Goode. Wilma was a homemaker that loved being able to take care of and spend time with her family. Her grandkids were her greatest joy in life, and she never missed an opportunity to be around them. When she was not tending to the house or chasing Bob or the kids around, she could be spotted at a campground with a fishing pole in hand. A couple of her other favorite pastimes included knitting, especially bootie socks, or going out for an evening of bingo. Wilma was a Christian by faith and loved attending church at the Harvest Time Tabernacle in Tahlequah, OK. On November 19, 2022, at the age of 83 in Tulsa, OK, the Lord gave Wilma rest and called her home. The memories of her will be cherished by so many that knew and loved her.

Welcoming her into the kingdom of heaven include her parents, one son Robert Lee Ogden, and one sister Velma Melton.

Left to share the life she left, include her husband Bobby Lee Ogden, one son James Lee Ogden of Hulbert, OK, one daughter Barbara Jean Goode of Hulbert, OK, one brother Glen Wheeler and wife Margie of Sulfur, OK and one sister Annabelle Qualls of Tulsa, OK. Wilma also leaves seven grandchildren, Jammie, David, Jennifer, Kara, Janelle, Jessica, Amber and 14 great grandchildren and a host of other family and loved ones.

Funeral services for Wilma will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 10:00am at Reed Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK with Bro. Gary Clinton officiating. Burial will follow at Tahlequah City Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK

Pallbearers include Dakota Ferguson, Leon Melton, Trey Melton, Thomas Davis, Terry Wilson, and Ray Goode.

A visitation is set for Monday, November 21, 2022 at Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
