Virginia Lois Smith Weaver was born on August 14th, 1945 in Van Buren, AR, the daughter of Arlie Smith and Callie (Crosslin) Groves. She grew up with one brother, Donald and one sister, Lou. After completing high school, she met and married the father of her children, Othel Johnson, and later married her best friend, Jimmie Theron “Butch” Weaver. BigBoy’s and Winchell’s Donuts. She also worked in various nursing homes as a certified Nursing Aide. Virginia also worked as an Avon Representative, taking the latest makeup and perfumes to her clientele. She was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved caring for her family and spending her free time with them as much as possible. She also enjoyed time at her with her cat, Sassy. There was nothing better than a day spent at home, doing a little reading, the Bible being her favorite book. She was quiet and thoughtful, loved caring for people and making them feel like they were the most important person in the world. The holidays were a favorite, especially when surrounded by her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her health began to fail her and she passed from this life April 10th, 2022 surrounded by the family that loved her. She was 76 years old. She will be greatly missed by those that loved her.
