Ryan Allen Kirk

Funeral services for Ryan Allen Kirk will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother Benny Stevenson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 from noon until 6:00 PM at Reed- Culver Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Pumpkin Hollow Cemetery in Proctor, OK. Pallbearers for Ryan include Russell Kirk Jr., Josh Ashley, Alex Hodge, Malik Hodge, Robert Kupsick, and Caleb Morton. Honorary pallbearers include Reid Kirk, Jimmy Kirk, Keagan Kirk, Justin Kirk, Mason Kirk, and Dylan Daniels.

Ryan Allen Kirk, or Ry or Kirko to his many family and friends, was born on August 14th, 1995, in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Rolita Marie Kirk and Jose Luis Garcia. He was raised by his stepfather, Joseph Rainwater and Rolita Kirk-Rainwater of the Pumpkin Hollow Community. He was raised around his sisters, Jaebrey Kirk, Keaundra Kirk and stepsisters, Echo Rainwater, and Kori Rainwater of the home. Along with his half sisters and brothers, Cynthia Scraper, Arissa Garcia, Aiden Garcia, and Jaxin Garcia all of Tahlequah, OK. He last attended school in Tahlequah. Ryan loved to cook, whether he was reading from a box, he always added his special touch by throwing in some of his own seasonings. It might have tasted bad or good; he still thought he was the best chef. Ryan loved the outdoors, and never missed a chance to go to his favorite fishing spot or play a game of baseball or basketball with his friends and cousin, Reid. He also enjoyed rodeoing with his cousins, especially bull riding. He liked to tease his sisters til they were angry, then he would turn on the “Ryan charm” and have them laughing at his antics in no time. He loved music of all genres and played a guitar whenever he had free time. He was kind, compassionate, and always happy to help someone in need. He adored his family and was very close to his devoted mother. People often called him a “momma’s boy”. Ryan passed from this life all too soon on Monday, October 10th, 2016 in the Proctor community. Ryan was 21 years old. He leaves an emptiness that can never be filled.

Ryan has been preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Robert and Marie Kirk, grandmother, Dorothy Wyley Garcia, and his uncle, Raymond Kirk along with several friends and loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Rolita Marie Kirk-Rainwater and her husband, Joseph of Proctor, OK. He leaves his sisters and brothers of Proctor and Tahlequah, and his step-grandparents, Martha Mojica of Tahlequah, OK, Rodney Rainwater and Don Dwiggins, both of Sapulpa, OK. He leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Gayla and Ted Kupsick of Pumpkin Hollow, Sherry and Dale Townsend of Sallisaw, OK, Danny and Anita Kirk of Ft. Gibson, OK, Russell Kirk of Missouri, Monty Kirk of Tahlequah; grandparents, Carmen Garcia of Siloam Springs, Anna and Jimmie Scott of Atoka, OK, Delores Garcia of Texas, Moe and Fuzzy Garcia of Rose, OK, Chano and Jennifer Garcia of Tahlequah, OK, Ruben and Gerona Garcia of Siloam Springs, as well as many friends and a host of loved ones too numerous to mention.
