Roger Alden Hawley

Graveside services for Roger Alden Hawley will be held on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Row Cemetery in Colcord, OK with Bro. Rod Arnold officiating. Visitation for Roger will be held on Monday, November 23rd, 2015 from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.reedculver.com.

Honorary pallbearers for Roger include his two sons, Jeremy and Luke Hawley.

Roger Alden Hawley entered this life on June 28th, 1960 in Gentry, AR, the son of Virgil Bradley and Bonnie (Arnold) Hawley. Roger married Valerie Beckmann and was blessed with five cherished children, Bradley, Luke, Jeremy, Katrina and Emily. Roger was a hard worker and enjoyed working with his hands as a carpenter doing construction work for many years. He took great pride in caring for his family. When he wasn’t working, he would take the grands out for McDonald’s. They especially loved trips to the zoo or safari in Gentry. He loved having the family over for cookouts for good food and old stories. Roger left this life much too early on November 17th, 2015 at his home in Tahlequah, at the age of 55.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bradley Hawley and one brother, Alan Lynn Hawley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Valerie Hawley; two sons, Luke Hawley of Waco, TX and Jeremy Hawley of Tahlequah, OK; two daughters, Katrina Hawley of Seneca, MO and Emily Phipps and husband Robert of Tahlequah, OK; one brother, Dwight Hawley and two sisters, Kathy Hawley and Tammy Hawley. His legacy lives on through his seven adored grandchildren, Arielle Hawley, Bradley Spear, Mackenzie Perry, Brae Perry, Alan Hawley, Alden Jones and Jeremy Hawley, Jr. as well as many nieces nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
