Rhonda Faye Carpenter

Rhonda Faye (Smith) Carpenter was born on November 22nd, 1962 in Lawton, OK. She was adopted at age five by Vancil, and Rachel Smith, and raised to appreciate the things she had, and love those that meant so much to her. She was the Owner/Operator of her own construction company. She loved her children, and adored all of her grandchildren. They are what kept life worth living for Rhonda. She was the proud mother of David and Chris and foster mom to Matt Jacobs, and others. Family life was everything to Rhonda. She loved being a foster mom, giving them a roof over their head. She made her house their home. She loved barnyard animals. She liked houseplants, and yellow flowers; she also made a great no bake cookie. There was no room in Rhonda’s world for hatred, she felt every person deserved the chance to be forgiven. She had a really big heart. She had a wonderful laugh, a fun sense of humor and counted the days til she could squeeze her grandbabies! She simply adored them. Rhonda fell sick from Covid-19 in late August, and fought for a month to heal, and passed from this life on September 28th, 2021 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 58 years. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lattie and Bessie Burgess, father and mother, Vancil and Rachel Smith, Foster Mother, Norma Harper, brother Allen Smith, and grandchild, Bentley Jacobs.

Those left to cherish this wonderful woman’s memory include her children, David DiNoia, Chris DiNoia and, wife Tymber of Park Hill,OK, and Foster Son, Matt Jacobs also of Park Hill, OK. She leaves her Foster dad, Ray Harper of Park Hill, OK. She leaves her brother Charlie Carpenter of Lawton, OK, Sister-in-law Donna Krummel of Tahlequah, OK, and Foster sister Regina Barnard of Okmulgee, OK. Her grandchildren, Justice Dry, John Garner, Jasmine Dry, Jackie DiNoia, Harlee Killian, Ryleigh DiNoia and foster grandchildren, Maveric Jacobs, Dacota Jacobs, Bailey Jacobs, as well as many other friends, and family.

Funeral services for Rhonda Faye Carpenter will be conducted on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at First Southern Baptist Church in Keys, OK with Pastor Scott Wolff. The family will have a visitation on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Pettit Cemetery at Pettit Bay near Keys, OK. Pallbearers for Rhonda include David DiNoia, Chris DiNoia, Matt Jacobs, Mike Page, John Carter and Nick Loveall.
