Gary Ray McDonald began his life on December 16, 1963 in Midwest City, OK. The son of Grady and Linda (Williams) McDonald. Gary graduated from Coweta high school where he enjoyed pitching for the baseball team. After finishing high school, he made his living as a construction worker.
In his spare time Gary liked to sit on the bank with a fishing pole, admire the stillness of the woods during a hunting trip, or take a shot at the green on his favorite golf course. He was a true outdoorsman, always looking for the next opportunity to enjoy everything God had created. A Christian by faith Gary was a member of the Freedom City Church in Springfield, MO, he loved working for the church, being able to share the word of God through all of his labors.
On July 11, 2022 in Branson, MO he left this life to see the place the Lord had prepared for him. Gary was a very special man that leaves a void in all the lives he touched, a void that is only filled with the happiness of knowing him.
Greeting him at the gates of heaven is his father.
Left to remember all the love he shared in this life include his Mother Linda of Pinellas Park, FL, one brother Steve McDonald and Wife Jill of South Pasadena, FL, and his aunt Glenda McLaury of Frisco, TX, as well as, numerous friends and other loved ones.
A memorial service will be held, 1:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK. Gary will be laid to rest at Tahlequah City Cemetery following the services.
