Funeral services for Frankie Doyle Deckard Sr will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Randy Davis officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ross Cemetery in Park Hill in the family section. Online condolences for his family may be left at www.reedculver.com.

Frankie Doyle Deckard Sr., or Doyle to his family and friends, was born on Tuesday, March 24, 1959 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Frankie Ralph and Bluie Carol (Ollis) Deckard. He grew up in a busy household of three brothers and four sisters, attended Tahlequah High School and then began earning his living as a truck driver, hauling milk. He was the proud father of four children, Mandee, Frankie, Stephanie, and Melanie. When he wasn’t on the road, he loved fishing, hunting especially deer season, and gaming chickens. As of late, he was happiest in the company of his canine companion Poncho. He was ornery and loved to tease his family, often doing so at family gatherings and weekend adventures. The family spent almost every holiday at the river or lake to enjoy the water swimming and each others company. There was always a pot of beans when his dad was alive, fried potatoes every chance he got, chicken and dumplings, or biscuits and gravy which was his favorite. Doyle loved to load the kids up and take them to the drive in on Wednesdays for $5 carloads. He liked cruising down the road listening to his favorite country music. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and loved spending every opportunity he could with them. He departed from this life at the age of 60 on Monday July 8th, 2019 in Joplin, MO.

Doyle is preceded in death by his mother and father, his paternal grandparents, Luther and Edna Deckard, and maternal grandparents, Jim Ollis and Josie Swimmer, and uncles Edward Deckard, James Deckard, Arnie Deckard, Tommy Deckard, and aunt Edith Christie, two brothers Frankie Ralph and Marshall Deckard and three sisters, Sherry and Carroll Deckard, and Paula "Susie" (Deckard) Washington.

He will be greatly missed by those left to cherish his memory to include his four children, Mandee Carey and husband James of Miami, OK, Frankie Deckard Jr. of Siloam Springs, AR, Stephanie Deckard Hopkins of Centerton, AR, and Melanie Suber and husband Robert of Colcord, OK. He leaves a brother, Tony Ralph Deckard and companion Bill of Kemp, TX, and sister, Sheila Blossom and husband Bobby of Welling, OK, his uncles John Deckard of Moody, Bill Deckard of Tahlequah, and Rick Deckard of Tahlequah, and aunts, Glendy Hodge of Boudinot, Janice Washington of Tahlequah, and Nell Matlock of Etta Bend. He will live on in his seven grandchildren, Kendra Hammer, Braxton Hammer, Brandon Suber, Jacee Hammer, Dusty Shirrel, Nathan Shirrel, and Madison Suber. He also had three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
