He attended Tahlequah High School. He joined the US Army, his lifelong dream, and proudly served his country from 1997 until 2000. He married Summer Dawne, on April 16th, 1999 in Hinesville, GA. Upon discharge from active duty, he moved to Dallas, TX, becoming a mechanic for the Caterpillar dealership. Following 9/11, Clint felt the need to go serve his country yet again. He joined the Texas National Guard and served for several years. While in the National Guard, he served a tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq. He then returned to Tahlequah area. He joined the OK National Guard to further serve his country. While serving in that unit, he did a tour of duty in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Most recently, Clint was employed as a mechanic at Camp Gruber. Clints life was one of caring for and loving people regardless of their social status. He loved life and found beauty in the scenic places and diversity of peoples. Clint was an excellent marksman and enjoyed target practice, and spending time with his friends on roadtrips and playing around with recreational vehicles. He went the extra mile doing for others, never asking what his reward would be. He didn’t need to know you to be there to help you. He was kind, considerate, funny and had a playful streak that he used on a daily basis. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that made you grin. He was proud of his family and his country. Clint’s wife Summer passed on 9/16/2014 and Clint passed soon afterward, on Sept. 19, 2014 at 37 years old. He will be missed by his family for his love and his friends for the many hours of happy memories.
