Brenda Gail Welch was born on April 22nd, 1957in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Curtis and Donna (Forman) Welch. She was raised with one brother and one sister, Robert Welch and Patty Welch. She attended school and graduated. She then began her working career with AT&T in the Telecommunications Industry. She married kirk Whiteside and they made their home in the Oaks area. When she wasn’t working, she loved to go hunting for the treasures found in the antique malls and flea markets. She loved to watch a good movie and liked the old classic movies, old black and white and especially romance movies. You could find her cuddles up with one of her fur babies, her dogs were her constant canine companions. Brenda was the type pf person that was comfortable with the life she led, and the view from her porch, watching the sun rise and set each day, just where she found her porch. There was nothing she enjoyed more than the time spent with her family, sharing a laugh and a cup of coffee. Her heart was generous and she never lost the opportunity to help anyone that asked her for assistance. She knew all her neighbors and kept an eye on them, just in case they needed her help. She passed from this life on July 29th, 2020 at her home in Oaks, OK. She was 63 years old.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Elmer and Lavella (Tyre) Welch, her maternal grandmother, Ruby Forman, her mother and father, and her many aunts and uncles.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her brother, Robert Welch of Atlanta, GA and her sister, Patty Welch of Oaks, OK. She leaves six nieces and nephews, Daniel Martinez of Colorado, Lisa Duniphin and husband Brett of Oaks, OK, Paul Martinez of Tulsa, OK, Cody Welch and wife Mandy of Colorado Springs, CO, Christie Johnson and wife Jesse of Brunswick, GA, and Haleigh Welch of Brunswick, GA. She also leaves many cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
