Angela "Angie" Danita (Rice) Martinez

Angela Danita (Rice) Martinez was born on December 22nd, 1972, in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Harold Lawrence and Juanita Ruth Rice. She grew up with three brothers and two sisters, Michael Nott, Steven Nott, Bruce Nott, Sherri Nott, and Christine Nott. She graduated from high school and In 1995 she met and married Jose (Bolillo) Martinez, and it was love at first drink, well if Bolillo tells the story. They married in 1995 at Tulsa, OK, and together they raised three sons and one daughter, Markus, Marisela, Jose and Enrique. She had an Infectious laugh, a beautiful face that lit up when she told a story, and she genuinely loved to hear about your day. She went on to be a medical assistant, due to her health she ended up staying at home to care for her family. She loved to do things around the house, like work in her flower and vegetable gardens, sewing, quilting, crafting, making the best chicken and dumplings and fry bread that melted in your mouth! She would have no trouble telling you that her favorite people on earth lived with her! She adored her family, and liked to watch paranormal videos, spend time watching youtube videos, watching a good movie and taking her children out to eat. She was funny, straightforward, loved people and had no problem telling you where she stood on any certain subject. There was nothing she liked better than a warm sunny summer day and her family at the creek or river, doing a little swimming and maybe a cookout out or picnic later. The holidays were the best for Angela because of all the little extra things she did for the family she adored. She enjoyed trips with Bolillo rather it be to Las Vegas or to the casino for a night out. The smile was always on her face when her grandbabies came to visit. She was so very proud of her Karis, Marysa, Jordan, Sofia, Giovanni, and Arabella. She thought they were the most talented, good looking grandchildren ever. Angela passed from this life on October 12th, 2021 in Tulsa, OK, with the family she loved by her side. She was 48 years old and will be greatly missed for all the love she gave so freely.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nelson and Arlene (Levi) Sack, her mother and father and her oldest brother, Michael Nott.

She is cherished and remembered by her loving husband of 26 years, Jose (Bolillo) Martinez of the home and her four adored children, Markus rice of Oklahoma City, OK, Marisela Martinez and Marcos Gonzales of Tulsa, OK, Jose Martinez of Tulsa, OK, and Enrique Martinez of Tulsa, OK. She leaves her brothers and sisters, Steven Nott and wife Janie of Tahlequah, OK, Bruce Nott of Tulsa, OK, Sherri Nott of Tulsa, OK and Christine Nott also of Tulsa, OK. She will live on in her six wonderful grandchildren, Karis Rice, Marysa Rice, Jordan Rice, Sofia Rice, Giovanni Martinez and Arabella Gonzales all of Tulsa, OK. She also leaves many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention

Pallbearers for Angela include Markus Rice, Marcos Gonzales, Tyler Nott, Kenneth Cooper, Nathan Cooper, and David Drywater. Her honorary pallbearers include Bolillo Martinez, Jose Martinez, Ricky Martinez, Steven Nott, Bruce Nott and Nicholas Allen .

Funeral services for Angela Danita (Rice) Martinez will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Little Rock Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Christie of Elm Tree Baptist Church officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family at the Church at Little Rock beginning at 10:30 Am until the services begin on Monday.She will be laid to rest at Little Rock Cemetery beside her family.
