Jeffrey A. Rivera

Jeffrey A. Rivera, born May 19, 1954, was called home to the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Heberto G. Rivera and Aurora Salinas Rivera and his brother, Lewis Ross Rivera. Jeffrey is survived by his brother, Wayne Rivera of Taft, Texas and sisters: Hilda Rivera of Houston, Texas, Cynthia Bengsch of Taft, Debra Rivera of Las Vegas, Nevada, Annadale (Fred) Torres of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Nelda (Ruben) Tijerina of Houston; several nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. He was a great brother, uncle and a wonderful friend. Jeffrey’s family wish to express sincere thanks, gratitude and deep appreciation to his many wonderful friends, most especially Reuben “Booboo” Trevino of Taft. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Taft Memorial Park.
