Manning Weathers, Sr., 86, of Rockhill, S.C. and formerly of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home with his family by his side. He was born in Georgetown, S.C. where he attended public schools. A United States Army veteran, Mr. Weathers served his country during WWII. Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Earline; son, Manning, Jr.; daughters, Terry Weathers and Ava Smith.
Manning is survived by three sons, Michael and James of Syracuse, and Tony of Trenton, NJ; four daughters, Nancy Weathers and Jacqueline Smith of Rockhill, S.C., Brenda Campbell and Lisa (Ronald) Robinson, of Syracuse; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.
Calling hours: Monday 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
Burial in Onondaga Veterans Cemetery.
