Gaetano Lisi

Gaetano Lisi, 84, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday at his home with his family by his side. Born in Syracuse, Gaetano retired from Allied Chemical after working there for over 30 years and was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Frank and Joe Lisi.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gemma (Raffo) Lisi; sons, Michael (Carol) Lisi, Vittorio (Kim) Lisi and Marco (Kim) Lisi; sisters, Anna Marie (Pino) Marturano and Antoinette Zingaro; brothers, John (Marietta) Lisi and Alex (Filomena) Lisi; sisters-in-law, Sally and Joann Lisi; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday 8:45 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, Hospice of Central New York or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
