Neal C. Burns, age 71, of Syosset, New York passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Survived by his beloved wife Norma, loving children Keith (Heather) and Chris (Susie), cherished grandchildren Kelsey, Alexandra, Heidi and Indiana, dear sister Alison and dear sister in law Ute, adored nephew Bryan (Kim) and great nieces Ava and Molly. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Rita and by his brothers Kenny and Kevin. Neal was an exceptional husband and father. His family meant the world to him. He was a member and usher at Faith Lutheran Church. He was a valued member of AA and supported many people through their journey with addiction. He always had a kind word for everyone. He was loved by all.
A visitation for Neal will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791. Services will begin at 7:30pm with Words of Remembrance by Keith and Chris, following by Pastor Rebecca's prayer service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Neal's memory may be made to Faith Lutheran Church and/or Long Island Jewish.
