Brenda Gail Holland Miller

Statesboro (formerly of Sardis) –Brenda Gail Holland Miller, age 65, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Heritage Inn Health and Rehab in Statesboro. She was born in Jenkins County, GA, was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and was a retired bus driver and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Charlie James “Dimesey” and Mamie Ruth Lee Holland.

Survivors: Husband: Harold Miller of Ellabell, GA; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Hal and Cindy Miller of Statesboro; Brothers and Sister-in-Law: Douglas A. and Dorene Holland of Augusta, GA and Tellie M. Holland of Sardis; Grandchildren: Ivey and Tori Miller, Tyler Miller and Jordan Miller, all of Statesboro; Great-Grandson: Aiden Miller of Statesboro; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Visitation: Monday, August 23, 2010 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with Dr. Warren Devevo officiating. Burial at St. Mark’s Cemetery in Sardis, GA.

Pallbearers: Ivey Miller, Tyler Miller, Jordon Miller, Wade Holland, Curtis Peterson, Ronnie Brannen and Christopher Peterson. Honorary Pallbearers: Russell Lee and Bruce Davis.
