Rhonda M. Nelson

Memorial service for Rhonda M. Nelson, age 68, of Childersburg will be Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 3PM at the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg with the Rev. Michael Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 2-3.

Mrs. Nelson passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Eldsel McKinney and Edna McKinney. Mrs. Nelson was born and raised in Clay County, she was vey active in the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg and the Emmaus Walk Communities. She retired from Wilson Brothers/APAC, Mrs. Nelson loved many and was loved by many.

She is survived by her husband Rudy Nelson, son, Brian Nelson (Katie), grandchildren, Kayson, Kinlee, Kaycee, brothers, Gary Wayne McKinney, Timmy McKinney (Debbie), mother-in-law, Dot Nelson, brother-in-laws, Randy Nelson Sr. (Woni), Ben Nelson (Connie) and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg or Emmaus Walk.
