Paul W. Chambless

Paul is survived by his daughter, Theresa Hughston (Lynn); daughter, Carol Dasher; brother, Jimmy Chambless (Glenda); grandson, Terry Hughston (Candyce); granddaughter, Sarah Cherry (Rusty); granddaughter, Hannah Mann (Kylan); grandson, Johnathan Dasher; great grandchildren, Noah Cherry, Owen Paul Cherry, Preslee Mae Cherry, Miles Cherry, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Chambless; son in law, Levis Dasher; father, James William Chambless and mother, Lola Mae Abbott Chambless.

Paul was a truck driver who was awarded the Million Mile Award with Avondale Mills. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove. Paul had a pilot's license, drove a race car and enjoyed woodworking and painting and was with the Carpenters for Christ.

A visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, beginning at 10:00am with a funeral service following at 11:00am. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg.

Serving as pallbearers are Terry Hughston, Rusty Cherry, Kylan Mann, Johnathan Dasher, James Chambless and Keith Hattaway.
